I decided I wanted to see my phones performance. It's not what I think I should it be. So two questions, first, what is the average score for an iPhone 6 Plus. Two, if my phone really isn't performing as it should, how do I fix that?

I used AnTuTu benchmark and got 47181 on my 6 plus.

Why would it not preform? Are you having issues. If so it's mostly iOS related not hardware... There are countless tests done last year to show the processor power, etc. nothing is different.

No, it performs well enough for me, but the scores I'm getting are roughly 20-40 points lower than what I've seen online and according to the geek bench app it's less than the iPhone 6.

It's just numbers... the real question is how well does it do what you need it to do.

Your single core is about a thousand above what I'm getting. I wonder if it's actually testing the hardware or how it performs with signal.

Most of these tests are performed on a newly restored device with all settings disabled.. In reality all those tests are bound to perform lower than documented. No biggie, just enjoy your phone.
