    How do I stop it from showing the entire email? I have it set to preview only 1 line, which works in the email app. Thanks guys. I've been using an iPhone for a long time now and embarrassed to even ask. Lol.

    Is that the banner? If so, I've never seen it show that much. Turn the banner off if it bothers you. You can still get notifications with the alert tones, red badge, and in the Notification Center. I don't know of a way to shorten that.

    Yeah it's the banner and was fine before upgrading to 8.3 yesterday.

    I still use the iPhone 5. And I don't use the banner for email notifications. Maybe someone with experience with it can help. Looks odd though.
