Approx. 40 GB of music - 128GB iPhone 6 or 64GB iPhone 6 Plus?

My music library is 5,517 songs or 16.5 days (approximately 39-40 GB). Will this be enough for a 64GB iPhone 6 Plus or should I go ahead and get the 128 GB iPhone 6?

Thanks in advance!

I'd go 128 and have excess and not need it rather than not having enough for other things like apps, videos, and pictures...

What about space management.
Do you need 40gig of music on your phone? If you do get max storage and pay the price.
If not just figure out what tunes you like to have on the go.

I'd go for the 6 plus. Even if you pick half of those songs for the go to drop it down to 20g. Still 2500ish tunes. Than your left with 35 to 40g for apps and pics.

The plus is so worth it. What's the point of having all those songs if your battery isn't going to last all day.

If your dead set on 40 gb for music, get 128 gb phone. The 64 gb starts about 58 gb available. But, as others have said, cut back on music. Do you really need 40 gigs on a phone?

I have the same amount of music on my 6+. I came from a note 4 with 64gb sd card and it wasn't enough. So I knew the only option would be 128gb. I have 64.1gb available to use. Go with 128gb. Also great resell value.

While a bigger screen is nice, you know what's better than a bigger screen? Not having to worry about micromanaging storage space due to running out.

I'd go with the 128 iPhone 6. If your budget will allow, maybe go with the 128 6 plus. An extra $100 over a typical 2 year lifespan for a phone is just an extra $4.16 per month (assuming we're talking U.S. here).

Just my 2 cents.

Go for the 128GB if you can afford it regardless of your music collection. You never know when that extra space will come in handy. But I also have a pretty extensive record collection and I'm okay on 64GB. It's amazing how much of our libraries are made up of padding (multiple songs from greatest hits collections, bad remixes, etc).

Depends on what you need the rest of the storage for. But go for 128gb if you want to put a lot of music on the phone.

I have only the 16gb version but that's enough for me. I have maybe only 6-10 extra apps installed at all times and I stream all my music as I have a 100gb data plan with my carrier. So the only thing really that fills up my space is photos, which I take pretty seldom so my storage will be just fine. It all depends on your needs.
