Improved Battery Life after iOS 8.3 on 6 Plus.

Anyone seeing improved battery life on their 6 Plus after 8.3?
Seems like I can get close to 10 or more hours usage since the update.

Mine is on par with how it was before. I mean, I get excellent battery life with my iPhone 6 Plus.

Go through each and every setting, including the ones inside your apps and make changes accordingly. Disable location services for apps and games that don't "need" it. Pay close attention to apps that use background app refresh.

I've already done all of that. Turned off all backgrounds app refresh. Turned off auto brightness. Have my phone on the lowest brightness. Have my emails set to push instead of manual. Etc. It's the joys of living in Australia with weaker signal than America

Trust me you have no idea how jealous I am of the battery life you guys get on the exact same phone lol. Though it's MUCH better than the 5c. I would only get 3-4 hours of battery life so it's like double

I couldn't say: I got my Plus 2 days before the 8.3 update, lol. But I've been loving the battery life from the start, anyway.

I have everything set the way I want and get through the the day. If I have to I plug in. Or I have a Mophie. I understand wanting the most out of your battery but I'm not going to choke my phone for more battery.

I took mine off charger at 87% 7pm Saturday right before I went in to work and used it frequently during breaks.
Got home from work at 1:30am didn't charge it. About to leave for work at 10:30am and at 52%. I may charge in the car but I'll only be at work for 3 hours it will last well after that.

No, I still get around 3 days or so. I don't notice any improvement in battery life. As an FYI, I don't notice any betterment on my iPad, either.

6 plus is by far one of the best devices on the market. The battery life I feel is well worth the dealing with the size.

Yesterday I took my 6+ off the charger at 730AM, went to the gym for 1.5 hours while using it for streaming radio during my workout connected to BT headphones. Went to work for 9 hours and came home. Went to bed around 10PM and battery was at 51%. If I were to be going out for the night, I would not have to worry about charging it beforehand, like I did with previous iPhone models. I love the 6+ battery life!

For comparison, my iPhone 5 gets about 3 or so hours screen time. I start at 5:30 am with 100% and using the phone non stop for 3 hours until 8:30 am it's warning me my battery is low. And that last 20% goes fast. 7 or 8 sounds great for screen time, or usage time. When this old 5 was brand new, I got about 9? hours total standby time, with maybe 6 hours usage time. It's gone downhill fast in the last few months. September can't get here fast enough.
