So i have a weird question/problem lol. I put my otterbox commuter or my incipio dual pro on my 6 plus and when i lay it on the table it doesn't lay completely flat. it rocks if you push on one side or the other. so naturally i think my phone is bent. so i take it out of the case and lay it on the same surface it lays completely flat doesn't rock at all. only part that doesnt lay flat is the camera cause it sticks out further that the rest of the phone. i was wondering if anyone else has experienced or noticed this lol.

    thanks in advance

I guess lol. Like I said I just found it funny that with those 2 cases it looks like its bent but when I have it out of the case or in my incipio ngp or pure-gear slim shell its flat as a board lol. Well for whatever reason I'm just glad my phone isn't bent lol. I do however wonder if I would leave the phone in either of those cases for long periods of time do you think the phone would eventually bend?

I highly doubt the cases would bend the phone. I think common sense should prevail here

Yea ur probably right but I baby this phone more than any other I've ever had. I spent an hour today making sure it wasn't bent.

So what happens if you lay both empty cases side by side. Do either of them rock? Could it be the cases?

Yup. Turns out the only cases I have that don't rock r the Apple silicone the incipio ngp and incipio feather shine. All the others lift and rock without the phone in them.

My 6 does that little rocking action in my Spigen Ultra Hybrid, and in my Luvvitt Clearview. It also rocks a little naked when laying screen side down. It does not rock in my Speck Candyshell Grip.

I think any iPhone 6(S) is gojng to have some degree of variation as far as true flatness. I'm sure non are 100% flat, mathematically speaking.

I've noticed my Apple leather case not laying 100% flat and rocking, my phone is fine though.

Why would the outer shape of the case impact the phone directly? The phone isn't touching the outside of the case. You don't believe those bunny ear cases will change the phone's shape to have bunny ears do you? If not, why would you think a non-flat shell would bend the phone? Don't stress it.

Interesting, I have the Candyshell Grip on my Note 4 and it does rock. I attribute it to the curved back and grips.
