I made the jump today to an iPhone 6 Plus 64GB. It's been a long time since I used an iPhone so thanks to all those that offered advice.

So far I'm very happy with it. The device itself is gorgeous, it's absolutely perfect from a design point of view. iOS will take a bit of getting used to again but change is good.

The Nexus 6 with its terrible battery life is gone. No doubt I'll have some questions.

My Nexus 7 has pure crap for battery life and I've talked to lots of other people about crappy battery life on the Nexus phones.

Thanks all. It actually feels really good to be using an iPhone, I'm enjoying it a lot. I'll admit that I'm considering replacing my Nexus 7 with an iPad Air.

One small annoyance is that SwiftKey isn't as accurate as Google Keyboard. I keep finding that random words have made their way into what I'm swiping. The prediction doesn't seem to be as good.

Welcome to iPhone 6 Plus you won't regret it! I get almost 4 days of battery life on my IP6+ it is well worth the price and I like the app store a lot better in iOS.

Yeah 3rd party keyboards aren't quite there yet, they are getting there as they were just introduced less then a year ago if I remember right.

The battery is incredible. I've really used this heavily after coming off charge at 8am. At 5pm it's still at 64%. After struggling to get 3 hours of screen time on my Nexus 6 this is a highlight for me.

It's not too big. It doesn't feel that big in use, honestly, after 30 minutes you'll wonder how your managed on a smaller screen. I would definitely recommend a 6 Plus.

I came to the iPhone 6 from having a Nexus 5. One thing that leapt off the page at me was the quality of the applications. You don't realize how crappy the Android apps look until you see the equivalent app on iOS. It was actually pretty shocking.

I agree. Even basic apps like twitter or facebook have little tweaks that make them a little easier and better looking.
