It seems low when in noisy conditions but tends to echo more when in private

Also if you have a protective case the muffling will increase

Well if I go to sounds,toggle lock sound it's very audible I can barely hear keyboard click speakers clear

I agree. I have mine turned off and whenever I'm using someone else's phone and they have them on, it just drives me crazy.

You can turn clicks off for the stock keyboard.

I find having sounds on at all when listening to anything really annoying. I try to keep my phone on silent as much as possible.

I also wish there was volume setting just for the keyboard.
