    Morning all.

Has anyone noticed that from time to time when taking photos, the iPhone 6 Plus seems a little slow?

I think in my test, it is slower when using the flash. To me, I feel it has been this way from day one. This has been the same no matter what iOS I'm using.

    Thanks for your input.

Overall, it's been faster than previous iphones I've had, but I still see this occasional delay, usually when in darker lighting but have seen it in broad daylight as well. Hasn't really changed from 8.0 to 8.1.2. Most of the time, no issues, though.

Hmm, coming to think of it, it was at night when it was slow. At the Christmas party and at one stage taking images of the lunar eclipse...

Low light situations would typically cause an AF lag. Also if HDR is enabled the camera takes more time to process.

Makes sense. I'd expect slower focus in darker conditions. Didn't think about the HDR aspect, though.

In my experience with smartphone cameras, low-light shots typically work slower. Same applies for my 6 Plus.
