Wow keep reading everyone's posts and seems there are so many issues with it? Didn't the initial batch of Otterbox defenders for the 6 and 6 plus have issues? Strange lifeproof now does too ? (Since they're under same company now lol).

I love mine. No issues at all.

No matter what case comes out people will have bad ones or want to complain about something. Very rare to have people flock to a forum to praise a product for how well it works for them. That's boring... I had the original otterbox defender and the original batch of lifeproofs got them both as soon as they hit the market both work great for me

I'll hopefully be getting my life proof in tomorrow. It was showing as coming in yesterday but shipping was delayed for whatever reason.

I really want the LP Nuud case, but I am waiting for them to release it in white. I also am curious to see if they will release a Fre case eventually or if they opted out because of the size of the device.

From what I hear they aren't making them anymore.

ImageUploadedByiMore Forums1426737052.614442.jpgImageUploadedByiMore Forums1426737072.211723.jpg I got it yesterday... It slim, looks and works great... Not much added bulk. I could say only 2 issues I see is Sound is a bit muffled for Video/Music as well as calls its Not major issue but is doesn't sound as good as lifeproof Nuud for iPhone 5s that rerouted sound towards front. That and you need fingernails for lightning port door to open.. It doesn't have groove to wedge open the overlapping door like 5S model nuud. Iphone 6+ version is a flat flap that doesn't overlap over front. See pics... It is very hard to remove if you plan on switch cases frequently. I'm gonna put it to test and see how it works out. It is pricey at 100$... I use lifeproof for concerts and festivals where weather can be rough... So I will be needing it. I would not recommend to my friends unless you really need a rugged case for work or extreme conditions. Wait to try it out or see it on streets and ask owners what they think before putting down 100$ for it.

Got the case as well. But hate the fact only apple oem cables fit the charging port. Has anyone else found cheaper longer cords

Son had a Fre for 5. Isn't water proof/resistant and it took them 7 weeks to replace the phone and case. Easily the worst customer service I have ever received in my life ! And my life has been going for awhile !

^MY THOUGHTS ON STATEMENT
They gave you a new case and phone? And your complaining? Haha, wow. American im sure (i am as well, i just realize 1st world problems become a bit crazy at times. I had a FRE for my iPhone 5, then got a N??D for my 5s, and i tested both for water proofing woth no phone in them before use with no leaks, then again with phone in them (not on purpose just glad i had a lifeproof case) and over time i got to the point i used in shower with no issues.

>FRIENDS ISSUE
Had a friend get his wet, and then used compressed air to blow out water from ear speaker part and blew speaker (broke it) so dont do that.

>PROPER USE?
As for this im quoting, im not saying you didnt have a defective case, not ruling that out. But some ppl take the case on and off, getting dust in seal, weakening clasps, bending case, then complain it doesn't work after a while. And that bugs me to an extent.

If used properly, then you should be fine, personally when i got my 2nd 5s and new nuud lifeproof, i took both out of the box, left stock plastic on rear panel of phone to slightly thickened phone, making the case a tighter (also keeps the middle back plastic support brace ((little plastic part that bridges the gap between middle of case and phones rear cover)) from scratching metal rear panel). Then just put clean new crisp iPhone in clean new crisp case, and never took them apart and I've dropped phone in shower alot like 10+ times with no issues.

>REAL COMPLAINTS ABOUT CASE
If you want to complain about the 5s lifeproof, and what looks like the 6's inherent problems then id say:

1.) The looks still were a bit dated even then, now like a car that was a bit dated in the 90's and we see now like wtf was ford thinking! (anybody seen the inside of a 90's taurus or escort? lol) the 6 version looks like the retarded brother of the 5's nuud. That same cheap textured plastic on front (like wanting an new audi interior, and instead getting a new camaro interior), same cheap type of softer rubber on sides that rubs into a ugly matte type finish after a few weeks use. And the bulky look that is now even worse on 6, which becomes the new look of a once sleek, perfect form and function device.

2.) I was bothered by them puting the rubbery material on the front edges but left the back (part its usally set on) slippery hard plastic.

3.) And my biggest gripe is the toggle type clicker button for phones silent toggle, (on the left top side of phone) wore out, rubber cracked and eventually after about 1 year fell apart and left just the internal hard plastic flap for a toggle.

It makes it easier to use lol, but compromises case, tho still never had an issue.

>What i think we all want, a tried and true to its name water PROOF not resistant. And if that means making a warning saying the more u take on and off the more likely to become less structurally sound.

And a case that fits its $109 (after tax) price tag. This has become the popular brand name in top of the line phones. So good job and congrats to the maker, you saw a niche market and acted, and im sure it became bigger then they imagined.

But that mean your not a kia anymore, your the auid, benz, bmw of cases! Maybe not the exotic, but deffinitely sport luxury! Lol. So live up to that and use luxury materials not cheap feeling, easy to ware out, clunky designed.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying its not the best overall case. I love my 5s nuud. Overall, the shock protection, and water proofing is great, even better when you consider i can touch my rear screen, AND its pretty slim compared to others, but you can do better!!!

And here in 2015, ppl like me that just got a brand new 64gb, iphone 6 dont wanna cover up out sleek new phone with a bulky cheap strange looking case.

>MY SUGGESTION TO LIFEPROOF
Scrap the iPhone 6 nuud, and make nuud V2, nuud 2.0, nuud w.e., just come up with a new design, and to stem customer outrage that they just spent $100 on the cheap looking nuud, and now a new nice 2.0 came out, offer an online sign up, by mail, buy back offering a 30-50% discount (economically the most you can reasonably do) for trade in for a nuud 2.0.

And then just pack those back up, along with remaining stock and sell for $20 cheaper then the 2.0 and still make money on the ppl that wanna save a buck and dont care.

Make the buy back a pain with hoops to jump thru and most lazy americans like my self prolly wont even bother, just the offer is what matters for PR.

Simple concept, make it happen!

I just got the Nuud case at my local at&t store and I will say that it's pretty good so far. Since this is my first lifeproof case, I just wanted to try it out. I am not having any issues with it, except the muffled notifications sounds, but turning the volume up could fix that. Otherwise, it seems pretty good, not sure if I am going to keep it or not, I do have 14 days to bring it back lol.

Mine is working just fine. Haven't had any problems with it yet. The only thing I don't like is having to use the headphone jack adapter to listen to music. Decided to sale my buddy at work my beats ear buds and started using my LG tones.
