Does the iPhone 6 plus support the sleep/wake function

Does anyone know if the iPhone 6 plus supports the sleep/wake function like the iPad Air does? Meaning that if I put one of those cases with the magnet cover on, the screen won't turn on while it's covered.

I find that it saves a ton of battery life on my iPad because it keeps the usage from the lock screen very low, so I was wondering the the iPhone supported it as well and have been looking into wallet/folio cases.

Does anyone know or have one of those cases with the magnet to confirm? Thanks.

I haven't jailbroken in a while, but I remember there was a tweak called "Always On Proximity" that would replicate the auto-wake feature but on the iPhone, and would work with any wallet style case you could buy for it. Not sure if it still exists...

Thanks for the responses guys! I figured that it wouldn't have it, was hoping it would tho. Maybe they'll add it on the 6s since there's so many folio cases out there.
