I would like to use a charging dock /cradle with my iPhone 6 Plus. It is in a Vaja case, which actually adds very little to the size of the phone. (Probably the same added bulk of an Apple case.) Does anyone have a recommendation for a good charging dock that will accommodate the phone in the case? I think that if I keep taking the phone in and out of the case, it will stretch and eventually break down.

On a related note, is it OK to keep the iPhone charger plugged in to a surge suprpressor when no phone is attached to the charger's power cord (with and/or without a connected dock).

I use Twelve South HiRise charging dock. It accommodates all types of cases

As far as keeping the charging brick plugged in, I don't think it hurts anything (I've kept mine that way for years), but I understand it will continue to draw a little power (aka power vampire).

I've been looking at them, and I think I decided on the high rise too. They look great and have awesome reviews.

I've been using the twelve south hi rise for a few months and I love it. I can dock my iPhone 6 plus and iPad mini 2 on it quite nicely.

i was at the apple store earlier today and saw that they've updated the twelve south hirise to the hirise deluxe.. seems they have gotten rid of the allen key screws for a thumbscrew that's easier to adjust.. also they include a lightning and micro usb cable too
