So on my way to work this morning I noticed out of the corner of my eye that my iPhone started to reboot. It turned off then the apple logo showed up as if I had done a soft reset. Any ideas as to why my brand new, 5 day old iPhone 6 plus would randomly reboot?

I'm still going to say I'm fairly sure it has to do with RAM. That or flash memory. There are actually a lot of people on this forum reporting that issue.

Hasn't happened yet on my 6 plus. It happened on my 5S in the beginning of iOS 7 until the updates.

Had it happen once on my plus... Brushed it off since it hasn't happened again.

Hasn't happen on my 6 Plus I have had from day one.

Have you updated to the latest OS? Have you done a fresh install or restore from a back up?

Recommend enabling the Automatically Send option in Settings/Privacy/Diagnostics & Usage. Apple then should get the crash dump data and be aware that iPhone 6 Plus's are randomly rebooting.
