I'm wondering if the orders placed through AT&T (not from Apple) will be delivered to your home only if someone is there to sign. I heard different experiences from the past few years online, but can people who have ip6/ip6+ this year confirm if a signature is required? I'll be out of the country for about 3 weeks near the expected delivery date. So thanks in advance!

If they do need someone to sign, I'll probably have to ask some friend to camp in my home or ask AT&T to change delivery address to my work address...

They didn't require one with FedEx. They just left my phone on the front porch, and luckily someone was there to get it

T-Mobile also doesn't require it. If they ship via UPS, then you can pick to have it picked up at UPS customer service

This also can vary by where you live. No carrier leaves anything in my neighborhood. Every shipment requires a signature, regardless of what the shipper requires.

True. The opposite happens at my house. They will leave anything, signature required or not.

I received 3 phones from AT&T all delivered by FedEx and none of them required a signature.

If I remember correctly I signed when my 5S arrived. I just assumed Apple had it insured.

I got my AT&T order through FedEx and the guy came to the door and just handed me the package, no signature.
