Otterbox defender and lifeproof

So I am thinking that the Otterbox Defender will be released first. I need a case that provides more protection so I will probably end up getting it. But the plan is going to be buy it on my Amex card and hopefully the lifeproof case comes out within 90 days.

Since Amex provides return protection if Otterbox won't take the case back Amex will refund me the money and I can then buy the lifeproof case.

I'm waiting for the Symmetry or Defender, hopefully they release it before I drop my phone lol

I was in touch with Otterbox directly and they said mid-October. Considering we are nearing the end of October now, it appears they are behind schedule.

Hopefully they fix some of the reported problems people are having with the 6 defender. Personally have never experienced any, but there is always that chance.
