Does the Verizon iphone 6 plus come GSM unlocked?

I don't know when Apple is going to release a factory unlocked 6 plus but just like the 5s Verizon is this also GSM unlocked? Also I don't see a Verizon contract free option to order the 6 plus online except for t-mobile but that one is locked. How did you folks order your 6/+ contract free?

Yes Verizon iPhones ever since I believe the 5 come unlocked and you can use on any carrier

It is my understanding that the T-Mobile iPhones are actually unlocked. They are shipped with a T-Mobile sim but any sim will work in them. That is the way my iPad Air was and I assume that the phones are the same.

I went ahead and ordered the T-mobile contract free model. If it doesn't work with my sim card I'll just return it.
