    I've been feeling that Safari drains too much battery as well, and have it synced with my iCloud. I unchecked the iCloud sync for it and will report of it improves battery life

    I use mobile safari quite a bit (primarily for search and research), but I have never noticed any noticeable battery drainage while using it.
