I am in the exact shoes as you are and I talked to the supervisor on the phone and she shipped out the 6 for me and once I receive the 6 I'll be returning the plus through the return label included in the box. You HAVE to return it through shipping and not through a store because the store has a different inventory then online and that's why they you must go through the customer service to return online orders

Do you automatically get back ordered or will your phone ship in a decent amount of time?

Interestingly enough I just made a thread about doing the exact opposite, please let me know how your experience goes, i'm really confused about what I actually need to do.

Ha lucky people in the usa they have a good 14 days return window. Here in Canada you have only 30 mins of usage but they say 15 days for return try to find the mistake

If you have T-Mobile then if you ordered over the phone you have to return over the phone. If you ordered in store you have to return in store. As simple as that, no exceptions.

Well, there's different types of girls out there. Some of them do, some of them don't. I am not generalizing. Before becoming an Airline Pilot I worked at my local Best Buy to help me with paying for pilot courses and lessons. Four out of Five girls that came into the cell phone section (the one I worked on most of the time) didn't care about specs, they looked at it, they looked at sizes and the shape of the phone but never asked for how much RAM it had or the definition of the display. But; sometimes I got these girls that indeed asked me for those things. RAM, quality of the display, if it would last.
It varies from woman to woman.

You do realize that you just made the point I was trying to show you for me? And that what you just said completely opposes the comment I quoted that you made before?

Yeah I ordered it in the store and it got shipped to my house. The customer care rep told me I gotta do it in store. If she was able to do it she would've just done it for me when I called, right?

Gotcha, I guess that is a gray area, the store ordering it for you online. I am not really sure to be honest on that scenario. I would just call again being it is so easy to get through.

I am on back order but the supervisor guaranteed a week. But since you ordered in store but shipped to you're house. It's still not the stores inventory that they provided the phone to you it's still from the tmobile warehouse. So it's over the phone technically.

Socialism

We just have ridiculous national wireless carriers that don't care about customer service. Why? Because the big 3 can get away with anything due to lack of real competition. I'm lucky that I live in a province dominated by a local carrier that keeps prices lower.

It's not that different from the 5 or the 5S. Bigger is always better. Excellent battery life and a gorgeous screen. What's not to love?

It is very different from the 5/5s. Just because it is only .7 larger does not mean it is not. Better camera, battery, screen (and not just talking about resolution) the list goes on. Not to mention the larger screen can display more information.

I just called customer care right now they told me I could've done it in store or the phone .. I decided to just go ahead with it over the phone I'm getting $100 back and getting the 6 64 gold. She said no longer then 4-6 days. It was a smooth process with the lady that helped me.

Cool 👍I was gonna get it in store but it's rare that they have gold 64s and I don't wanna have to be calling every day to see if they got a new shipment. I can wait a few more days 😃

told me I can just bring it into the store.

another t-mobile worker told me I have to call customer care

customer care ... told me I go into the store...

The damn runaround! I feel your pain! Damn I've been there with customer service for plenty of goods and services. Man does it suck to get the run around.

I got that from my crap employer HMO which literally took 4 months after receiving my enrollment form to enroll me. And i told them i needed to see a doctor. Man they gave me the run around. Told me to go to the main office to expedite enrollment. Got there, waited an hour to speak to my account rep, and was confronted with "Who told you that? She shouldn't have sent you. We can't help." They assigned me to a Primary care physician (after about 5 months) and went to set up an appointment and the Doctor didn't take calls. Went to the office the doctor refused to see me said i needed an appointment made by the insurer. The Insurer said just call. I'd go on but suffice it to say after like 8 months, and 1 fraudulent/unqualified "physician" that i haven't even gotten to. I simply gave up and and quit them.

I just hate the run around and when you're stuck with people without any power to get **** done.

As for cell phones, i came face to face with the ineptness that is Sprint. All i was trying to do was buy an iphone 6 and port my number. The Sprint rep flat out told me he was very sorry but the computer was just crap. The software was old and freezing. That and it was poorly designed. They had to manually enter tons of stuff. I spent hours, PLURAL, simply waiting for the computers to wake up. The system wasn't giving him the option to keep my plan even though it was possible. Like the button you click was greyed out and not selectable. In the end they had to cancel my plan. Give me a new plan that i didnt' want. And then i had to call customer service on the phone (they couldn't, how dumb is that) and they would switch me back to my old plan. And on top of that they had 25 people waiting. The first hour (i arrived before the doors opened) my sprint store served a grand total of one customer. And I bet the new CEO probably toured the one store in the country that runs perfectly and things nothing's wrong. well end rant sorry. I feel your customer service pain.

So are they shipping out the new one and you return the old one or do you have to return the old one first?
