AT&T STATUS UPDATES - iPhone 6 PLUS only

Does anyone have a shipping confirmation or tracking number through AT&T? Or an update of any kind? :)

When I ordered ours, it stated 9/19. Then the email confirmation and text messages said 10/13-10/21. Then, the order status page stated back ordered - and then shortly thereafter changed back to 10/13-10/21.

I spoke with an AT&T representative, who told me that almost everyone's iPhone 6+ won't be getting shipped until November. I'm a semi-patient person, but not if I have to wait that long - especially when Apple's website is still saying 3-4 weeks, which would put us in October at the latest.

Mine still says preparing for shipment with a ship date of October 13-22.. Those dates have been the same since Friday.. Although on Sunday it changed to backordered then changed back to preparing for shipment

Yup, that's exactly what mine did. What time did you order yours?

I completely agree. I would have ordered through Apple but their website was not up yet at the time

It's not just a problem with AT&T. There were so many iPhone 6 Plus pre orders that Apple was caught off with them. Most recent news is that most and in saying most I would say 75% of pre ordered phones will be pushed back a couple weeks. The problem exist with all carriers and Apple them selves. The stores in my area are not even getting a full shipment for Friday's release. I guess it's a wait and see. I had the same issue. First said delivery on the 19th then was pushed back to November and now it's the second week of October. I don't think anyone knows till the second shipment comes in and that should be next week from what I have read. At least I get to look forward to a nice surprise at some point! :)

Not so sure that Apple deliveries are seeing the same same problem. Most people who pre-ordered early enough via Apple have a 9/19 delivery date.

I agree. From what I've been told, it is moreso an AT&T issue at this point; especially since Verizon and Apple both have already started shipping their iPhone 6+.

Like Lady said, my status updates via AT&T seem to have been frozen in time. No change since Saturday.

I'll say this, If you don't have a tracking number by the end of tomorrow then it's not getting delivered. The problem is with supply. Too much demand and not enough supply to fill them. I would welcome my phone early but from what people are saying they have 9/19 delivery dates and no shipping info. I hope that changes but I don't see how we can be mad at this situation. In my case I'm using my 5s and it works fine and I'm good to wait if need be. I remember the debacle with the iPhone 5. People were receiving empty boxes..... LOL but they had tracking numbers. I sure hope that does not happen again.

Empty boxes? LOL, omg...that would suck. I'm definitely good with my iPhone 5, too. But I'm still an impulsive person - and when I order something, I want it yesterday. ;) Not to mention, I'm like a kid on Christmas morning. Other then that, I'm open to waiting. Luckily, I work from home 90% of the time, so I can schedule my meetings around any type of incoming shipment. :)

LOL...... Ha I completely understand! I'm the same way.... I actually hate ordering anything. I want to go get it now. This is actually the first year I have ever ordered the new iPhone. I usually stand in line every year because I'm so impatient and don't want to wait.

I am on ATT but ordered the T-Mobile unlocked version from apple. Had a apple gift card, so I went that route. Show delivery by Oct 1-6 right now. I ordered about 6 am Central on pre order day.

Have a couple of other phones so I can wait. That will give me time to get a case and glass screen protector.

I have AT&T but ordered through the Apple Store app. Says 9/19 for delivery and the status changed to "Preparing for Shipping" yesterday. Waiting for the tracking number.

You could still get a tracking number late Thursday night and still get it on Friday. iTs happened before.

Ordered mine on the AT&T website at 2:50 eastern time.. Have always been "preparing for shipment" in the ship dates of 10/2-10/13... Sunday afternoon it slipped into backorder with no date, till at night when the back order dropped & went back to "Preparing for Shipment" 10/2-10/13

Ordered mine at 12:37am. Initially it said shipment early November. Over the weekend it changed to 10/13 - 10/22. I'm thinking the people in line ahead of me cancelled their orders due to impatience. I hope more continue to do so. :)

I have been preparing to ship since Friday. My date did move up a week to 10/3 to 10/12

I heard a lot of that had been going on. Mine moved up also.

Mines been preparing to ship since I ordered Thursday night. Yet I have a shipping date of 10/13-10/22. My wifes iphone 6 is still preparing to ship as well. Doubt it will even be here friday. Looks more and more like att screwed this up. My parents and friends on Verizon already have tracking numbers.

I ordered a Gold 64GB 6+ at 4:30 AM EST. I got 10/13-10/22 initially, but it updated Sunday morning to 10/2-10/13, and my CC still has the hold for the sales tax on it. (I upgraded through Next.)

I wish my date would move up I've been stuck at an 11/9-11/27 shipping date since Friday 😔

After being at 11/9-11/23 since Saturday I just moved up 10/2-10/13. Hopefully stays there or earlier😉!

Just a quick update! Shipping dates changed to 10/2 - 10/13 today. Hopefully everybody continues to keep moving up! Pretty soon we will be getting them on Friday! Juuuuuuuust kidding. :p

I just noticed mine was also bumped up to 10/2-10/13.... Either people are canceling their orders or they are finally getting a grasp on all the orders.

Mine too got bumped up to 10/2-10/13, this feels a lot better than the mid november ship date I first got :p .... What I think happened is apple giving att more stock after what happened when preorders started, a huge chunk of att customers who would've ordered through apple went through att website, including me, so that might've thrown off their estimates.

my concern now is att said it will take 7 to 10 days to arrive after it ships. I want to know if I can call fedex or ups after it ships and pay extra to have it get here faster ;p

What does everyone's 'Last Updated' say? Mine hasn't changed since I ordered and still says "Last Updated: Sep 12, 2014"

My shipping dates have not changed either from 11/9-11/27. The status is still 'Pending'.

I'm not sure when that updates. My dates have changed twice now but the last update date is still Sept 12th.

Original delivery date of 10\2 to 10\13.

Status was just updated to shipped with working FedEx tracking number with delivery for Friday.

Just an FYI, hopefully more of you guys get tracking numbers today!

Purchased at 2:13 AM CST on launch day on ATT website. Got confirmatory email at 3:43 AM CST stating 14-21 days. Later checked that morning and it stated that it was expecting delivery from 11/9-11/27. Yesterday, it changed to 10/2. My CC got charged for the purchase today . I bought 128 GB iP6+ full price. Hopefully it is coming on launch day!

Don't wanna get my hopes up but It would be nice to get a tracking number

Mines changed from 10/13 -10/22 to 10/2 - 10/13 too.

I i/med a chat rep on AT&T and also called and both people gave be a huge attitude and told me they cant tell me any information. They basically refused to tell me if it was normal or not to get my money back from processing.

The device could be shipped already but just not updated. I just received my shipping notice for my 6 from att this afternoon. While on the FedEx site it says they picked it up on 9/12. So don't be surprised if you get a tracking number sometime tomorrow for Friday because chances are the carrier already has the devices that are being delivered on Friday v

There was a little trick to get it on the Apple Store. I went through the Apple Store App, and processed the upgrade there because it seems that if you were on the website at any point after the store started updating, something locked you to that updating page. The Store App processed the upgrade straight through no hick ups and the confirmation email came immediately after. I actually tried on the AT&T website first and glad it keep looping and refreshing and not allowing me to place the order if it's shipping that far into October.

If you got a ship date earlier than 09/19 they are going to have the shipper hold them until the 19th for delivery since that's the official release date...However some shippers never follow that rule :) You may even have your iPhone long before the tracking number ever makes it to you by email.

It's normal for the pending charge to drop off your card especially if you used a debit card. I've preordered before and that's always happened. You'll get charged again when your your phone actually ships.

I ordered my 6 Plus about 3 hours after opening of pre-orders. The charge was there now it's gone. Mine still says 10/31 to 11/11 for shipping. Ugh.

I didn't order the plus, but normally I don't mid preordering, so long as its delivered on the same day as the store, because it normally comes halfway through the day, and I'm at school, so it's waiting for me when I get back

EDIT: HOWEVER!!! It's en route... left Anchorage yesterday... track by reference with UPS using phone number. I imagine similar to those receiving via Fedex but no idea....

Mine is at that stage, but something weird happen as I called CS when I didn't see my 6+ order.

All of a sudden, the next day (16th), I checked my order status and saw that 6+, but it said order date being 9/15 and a November delivery date. Then today, it changed to order date being 9/12 and with the 10/13-10/22 ship date. I ordered around 4am as well. I ordered it before I ordered one of my iPhone 6 devices.

I just got off the call with an at&t representative. She told me that my order was processed manually, as all other orders did, and the processing time was 6:51 AM EDT. So they don't care when you placed the order as they processed the orders manually. Someone may pick an order placed later than all placed earlier and that order is ahead of you now. Also my bank was charged on 12 for whole amount but now I don't see these charges not even a $1.00 charge which is normally placed to hold. The above explanation is not mine but it is from AT&T, which is still Plain Old Utility Company, and they don't care about you as you have no choice but are addicted to technology which unfortunately they sell.

I have not called yet but I'm in the same boat. I finished my order at 3:10am EST but did not get my email confirmation till almost 5:30 that morning.
My ship dates have moved up a couple of times but still show preparing for shipment with a ship date of 10/2/2014 to10/13/2014. I keep checking every morning and evening. :)

Here is further update and way you can see if your order is shipped or not.
I called my bank and they told me that an authorization was place on Sept. 12 but since they did not draw money the bank took off so this will not go against my credit limit. However whenever AT&T wants they can draw money against that authorization and it will appear again but now when the money is drawn. So if you are as impatient as I am to get the phone, which I believe all you are since to were up until 3am or so on that night, call you bank and see if they drew the money or not.

Again I wish you all a better luck than me.

I just bought a Moto 360 to tide me over till the Apple Watch comes out. I'll use it with my LG G3. It has a ship date of 10/8. Wondering if I get that before the 6+?

Apple says that my estimated delivery date is set for October 1st through 6th. I just logged into my bank account this morning and saw that they withdrew the funds from my account to cover the cost of the phone. My question is if they withdrew the funds today is there a possibility I could expect to get the phone on launch day rather than the original estimated date of Oct 1st-6th?

I would thing you have a high probability if it shipping! :) Them withdrawing the funds is a good sign. I think they only do that when the order is complete and shipped or shipping that day. Good news for you and hopefully for the rest of us also.

Anybody else stuck here like I am? I called AT&T and she said I for sure have an order, so I don't understand why everybodys seems to be updating but mine. It's like frozen in time. I have tried to track ir via UPS and FexEx and nothing. I am not sure what to think, all I know is I was moving from Verizon to AT&T and I am COMPLETELY regretting this. Especially because my phone gets disconnected this week.

A lot of us are in the same quagmire of frustration. Can you get a pay as you go phone to last you until your phone arrives?

I am not sure, I am still working on the details. The rep says my new contract won't start until I activate my phone but it will be annoying not having a phone. Especially since I go to work at 5am in the city, and we all know what cities are like in Amerca! Haha I feel like walking from the parking garage to my office at 5 am on my cell phone is the only reason I don't get bothered bahahahaha.

I've also been stuck with the 11/9-11/27 shipping date since last Friday. I pre ordered the day pre orders opened but it wasn't til later in the day so I feel like if I stayed up to pre order at 1,2 & 3 in the morning my shipping date would've moved up...sucks.

I'm surprised that no one yet has responded that ordered from att a 6+ has gotten a tracking number yet. Is anyone getting one who ordered from att? My wife's 6+ which I ordered from Apple is on its way tomorrow and mine which I ordered from att is MIA. That's the last time I order from att!!

There is a thread on the ATT forum that has a spreadsheet (can't find it now to link sorry) of people self reporting who have received tracking #'s, time/date ordered & which model ordered. A few 6+/128g are listed as having received tracking #'s already...

My order is temporarily stuck on 10/2-13. Should know tomorrow if it becomes temporarily permanent.

Same here. Going to feel like the longest few weeks before I get my hands on my 6+

It will but we'll get through it, and look back at how silly and shallow it seemed at the time.

Hi - newbie from the Northern California (Bay Area) here. I posted this info on the AT&T forums, but thought it might be pertinent here as well.

I don't have a Premiere account, but I got into the AT&T site about 11:56pm local time, and preordered an iPhone Plus 64GB in silver. The order went through at 11:59pm PST on September 12. I got a confirmation email at 12:00am saying will ship in 14-21 business days. Account information on the AT&T site over the weekend said Preparing to ship 10/13-22, and I think on Monday the date had been pushed back a bit to late October.

So I was surprised when on Wednesday I received both a text message as well as email saying "Great news, your iPhone is on the way." complete with Fedex tracking number.

According to Fedex, my 6+ was picked up at Fort Worth, TX at 8:24am Monday, arrived at the Fort Worth facility at 7:39pm the same day and has been in transit since, arriving at Oakland, CA at 3:08am Thursday. The estimated delivery initially said 9/19/2014 3:00pm, but this changed to 9/19/2014 8:00pm this morning. Either way, it looks fairly promising I'll have it sometime tomorrow. (The Fedex truck usually comes to our area around 6pm on any given day.)

I am sorry others are having a harder time...hopefully they will sort things out soon and you all get your 6+s as well. I just thought I'd put this info up here so you knew at least some are moving along.

The estimated delivery initially said 9/19/2014 3:00pm, but this changed to 9/19/2014 8:00pm this morning. Either way, it looks fairly promising I'll have it sometime tomorrow. (The Fedex truck usually comes to our area around 6pm on any given day.)

I am sorry others are having a harder time...hopefully they will sort things out soon and you all get your 6+s as well. I just thought I'd put this info up here so you knew at least some are moving along.

Add me to the list of orders that have not budged at all. Mine shows a estimated ship date of 10/2-10/13. No updates at all. Ordered through the Premier site.

My status hasn't changed since Tuesday, when the shipping dates got bumped to October 2-13..never again will I go through AT&T [emoji35]

You can say that again. Only reason I went through them was the Apple Store app was down

Same here. Also tried the Apple Store app on my iPad and that wasn't working either.. This is my first and last time doing a Pre-order!

I should've waited and hope they did what they did with the iPhone 5. After like 8pm stores would update what stock they had and you could buy and pick up the next day. How I got my iPhone 5 two years ago. By the time I get my 6 plus I would've be eligible for a full discount and not have went with the Next plan

Yeah, this sucks big time.. Hopefully our status will change next week for the better

I went into our mall's AT&T store today to pick up an iPhone 6 and I think a lot of people were going to have a bad day.
The store was packed and a lot of people who were being waited on sounded angry because apparently AT&T screwed their orders up and all of them got iPhone 6's instead of 6 Plus's. Sounds like a bad way to end the week, since I heard somebody mention that they wouldn't get replacement phones until late October at the earliest.

AT&T sure was quick to send an email telling me my bill is available. Blah! That bill will not get paid until I get my phone!! LOL

My experience here in Atlanta was that most people were wanting T-Mobile unlocked iPhones. I was like 17 in line and the first person to get an at&t device...and I was at our busiest store.

Rado shack pre order worked like a charm. Had my 6+ 128 at 10 am.

My order still says expected ship date November 7-November 27. I'm not going got fret though. My 5S has been awesome and it will continue to be awesome for two more months. But I will admit that when I first saw the ship date, I thought, I could just pick up the Note 4 in October. But then I came to my senses and said no, I would rather wait.

Mine should be delivered sometime in November also. I wanted to see it in person first at the store before I ordered it. I have had every Galaxy Note and they all seemed too big for me, but the iPhone 6+ is awesome. I can't wait!

So this morning, just for giggles, i went to the apple store on my iPhone and see if i could order a 6+ 128 space grey. This was around 7:30 am CST. To my surprise, it said it was available for IN STORE PICK UP TODAY!!!!! So i quickly ordered, got a confirmation from Apple saying my order is ready for pickup IN STORE TODAY!!!

So i cancelled my STUPID ATT order, WHICH STILL STATED 10/2/-10/17 ship date (premiere account) even though I ordered through them on launch day at 2:13 am CST.

Lesson of the day: NEVER ORDER PREORDERS THROUGH ATT EVER AGAIN!!!! Good luck guys with your order. I would check daily in the morning at the apple store if one is available for in store pickup.

Not that easy here in the DC/MD area. Stores continue to show unavailable for pick up. Good try, though. Congrats on getting your phone!!!

I would have to cancel my att order first so I can get my upgrade then buy from apple. Still can't buy it unlocked off contact. I don't think the T-Mobile will get lte using an att sim

If I were to cancel with AT&T and get my NEXT upgrade re-instated, it would take a week longer than it is now for me. AT&T has me at 2-3 weeks; Apple is still showing 3-4 weeks. I'll wait.
