Well my bank was charged this morning and the status hotline number has changed from back ordered to processing. IT'S HAPPENING! :biggrin:

I ordered a SG 6+ 64GB on 9/22 and had a status of Item Backordered after my deadline of 11/10 passed. Now It is back to "Preparing to Ship" and the estimated shipping dates are back to being 10/31/-11/10. Also when I call it had always said the items in my order are currently on backorder but now it says the items are preparing to ship. I really have no idea what is going on with my order.

Dannyodman - you and I are exactly in the same boat. . .!! I actually called the number to check on status and for the first time she went over all my information and sent it in to a "Direct Fulfillment Request"! She said it was something new and gave me a reference #. All we can do is wait. . . and try to be patient.

Update.

Ordered a 128gb Space Gray Plus on 9/19

Tomorrow will be week 8 (57 days - 39 business days)

My status is still "preparing to ship" and "in progress"

I've lost ALL hope for ever ordering from AT&T again.

I ended up buying a 128gb Space Gray Plus from an Apple Store almost 3 weeks ago because I just couldn't wait, and my uncle will take my plus that comes in from AT&T (if it ever shows up).

Also, if any of you recall, I emailed the executive office complaining about how long its taking and how I was phone-less while I wait, and they sent me an iPhone 4 to use while I wait. I shipped it back to them the day after it arrived, I had no time to use that thing. What makes me even more mad is it took them a good 5 weeks to send me out a phone to USE while I wait...

All I can say is the 6+ is amazing, but IMO not worth an 8 week wait at all, I mean WHO can wait 8 weeks for an upgrade anyway? Like I said, some of us, like myself, NEEDED a phone, and 8+ weeks to wait....sheesh

I've been lurking in this forum since I ordered my phone (Oct. 3, 6 plus, 64GB SG) from AT&T and while it has said "Preparing to Ship" online for a while, today I was charged the tax (for the Next program) through my bank account. I haven't gotten a shipping number though, does that mean it should happen soon? They originally did a pending payment for the tax when I first ordered, but it fell off because of the delay.

Ordered mine on the 26th of September and it arrives today, the 13th of November. That is verging on the ridiculous. For reference, it is the 64GB silver model.

Fyi ordered oct 1 64gb sg, shipping window was nov 10-19 I was charged today, only noticeable change on the website is the applecare went from back ordered to processing, I'm guessing that means it's about to ship

Still shows delivery from 11/21-12/2, but it should get here sooner than that.

Update: 6+ silver 64gb ordered 9/21 at an AT&T store.

Ship date 10/29-11/7

On 11/7 my status went to "back ordered".

On 11/8 status went to "shipped"!!

Received this beauty on 11/11!!

Loving every minute with it. I'm finding it's really hard to put down. Battery, camera and display is a huge improvement from my 5s.
