Didn't know about the online reserve and pickup option. My apple store is saying all iPhone 6 plus stock is unavailable.

Will the apple store have non-reserved stock available on launch ?

Yes, some. Not sure how much. But bank on the fact that they will have more than the carriers, Best Buy, Walmart, Radio Shack, Target and the others combined.
