Pre-order 12Sep at 12:01 AM? Which time zone?

First year I'm going to try pre-order but I hear they sell out within hours or less. Can't find this on Apple's site or here, but may be missing it... when EXACTLY does pre-ordering start on 12Sep and what time zone is that in?

Usually base of Apples time in California 12:01am PST. I preordered the iPhone 4 at 3:01am my time (EST). Set my alarm for like 2:45 to be ready lol. Will do the same again this year

All places I have read are on point with what Rellyrellz mentioned. Pre-orders to begin at midnight Pacific Daylight Time (PDT United States) Sept 12. Do your time conversions from that starting point.

So you think pre orders will be open to you in Australia first before everyone in California? It will be available to everyone at the exact same time. So if it starts at 12:01 pst on sep 12 in Cali just figure out what time that works out for you there

I'm in California and Syndey, Australia is 17 hours ahead of us. I doubt they would get that big a head start. 12am in Apple's terms is Cupertino, California time. So 12am here, 2am CT, 3am EST and Australia would actually be September 13th at the point that it is 12am in California.

Just wanted to throw in something that has nothing to do with any of this. I'm happy I can just stay up, order my phone in 10 minutes and not lose any sleep time in order to make it to the gym at 7am Friday morning. Knowing that I'll be having an iPhone 6 Plus soon after.
