so i have an iphone 5s and i have a problem
it stops charging so randomly and i dont know why
for example: one day i was charging it on my portable charger and the thunder showed up and it was charging ......... after a while at 18% i noticed that it was plugged in and it wanst charging
i went home and the battery was so low like 3% and i turned it off
i tried to turn it back on but it showed that thing that needs to be charged a lil to be turned on
so i plugged it on to my usual cable an stuff and it was charging
i mean the cable thing on my ssscreen disapearded
after some seconds it finally turned on i didnt touch it but the minute my screen turned onthe thunder wasnt there and my ohone wasnt charging
so my problem isnt the cable or the wall adaptor
but WHAT IS IT THEN
i continued the same progress while it was off it was charging but the second it turns on stops

I’m assuming by “thunder” you mean the lightning bolt charging indicator in the upper right corner of the screen. Let me ask, how long have you had your iPhone 5s and is it still using the original battery? Apple’s iPhone batteries are designed to retain 80% of their original capacity for 500 full charge cycles. After that you’re on borrowed time. It’s possible your battery is just reaching the end of its usable life.

Try a different cord from charger to phone

Inspect the charging port with a magnifying glass. It may be full of lint.
