Why can't I hear the alarm but other sounds from speakers?

can hear alarm but other sounds from speakers?

Iphone 5s

There are no sounds coming fro my speakers except the alarm? No clicking when I type. No music. Like I say the alarm sounds are working fine?

Advice would be really appreciated

At the left side of your iPhone there is a switch, flip it up and you will start hearing sounds again.
Also make sure your volume is turned up. Open a YouTube video and turn up the volume to do this the quickest way.

Check 3 places to adjust volume.
1. Side of phone
2. Pull up Control Center
3. Settings > Sounds
