    I have an Iphone 5s and StraightTalk is my carrier. I receive notification of an incoming text from only people with the same carrier. Most my friends are with US Cellular, and i don't get notification from their texts. I spoke with StraightTalk and they said there was nothing they could do, it was the phone? I've gone through all the settings to no avail. HELP, this is really annoying!

    Unless those people have been blocked, you should receive SMS messages from anyone who can send them to you. Try resetting the Network Settings.
