Twitter does not update - help!

Hello,
Twitter is not updating and now it has become inactive.
The update circle goes round the 360 degrees but does not finish.
Can someone kindly offer suggestions?

If you're using the Twitter app, delete the app and then reinstall it. If you're logged in to Twitter via a web browser, be sure to check your internet connection. Furthermore, don't rule out the possibility that Twitter could be experiencing problems on their end b

Delete it in Settings >General >Usage > Manage storage > scroll to the App > Tap > delete the App. Then check it on the screen and delete it there. Then go to the App Store and download it again.
