The 5s is a good phone, but still worth it?

The 5S is still a very good device. If you like a smaller device, the iPhone 5SE is rumored to be introduced next week.

IMO no, AT LEAST until after the event on Monday to see what Apple announces. Since obviously you are considering the 5s for either price and/or size, the much rumored SE might be exactly what you are looking for

I think the 5s is very much worth it. The SE sounds like it would be amazing, though. If you are considering it for the price, go for it now.

As @pr1nce said though, if you can wait, hear about the SE first.

No, it's 3 days till live press and the phone should be released right after. I'd wait first

    I would wait.

I adore my 5s but it was given to me as a gift so I didn't have to drop any money for it.

It is still a very capable phone and I expect it to have a few more years of life. But with the SE coming out so soon it might be a good idea to compare the 2 and see which one would work best for you.

At the very least I expect with the SE's release for the price of the 5s to drop even more. That might make it all the more appealing. Or you may find that the SE is just perfect for you. The good thing is you just have to wait 2 days to find out

Picked one up off Swappa to hold me over until the 7 is released (sold a Nexus 5X as well). End up with a nice iPhone and about $100 profit.

I bought it when it was the newest iPhone and it's still an excellent device for many reason: quality of photo, music and reception of emails ( I have access to a fast Wi - Fi everyday at university ) and use it even for reading lot of files. BUT unless you can find a very cheap offer I suggest you the last iPhone SE, because even if Apple release updates for the older devices too, sometimes you could have some problems after the installation, because you have to consider that the iphone's software is old and could run slower.
If you are looking for an iPhone, but don't want to splurge for a smartphone just wait for a couple of week to find the best offert, onestly I'woudn't spend more than 200 for the old 5S.
Hope I helped you a little!
