Fiance has a 5s and battery drains extremely fast, everything was fine then one day boom. Any app I can download to see results or # of charge cycles before replacing?

Saw apple charges $80 out of warranty, prob worth it to go to Apple for replacement?

If it's $80, I'd go to Apple. I remember it being higher than that for my daughter's 5 when I asked about it last year.

Then it's one or more apps. Run away processes. Settings / Battery. Take a screenshot of that and share with us.

You can test your battery with this test:
    Battery test:
Write down your usage and standby time, press the sleep/wake button (or lock button, as some call it) to put the device to sleep, and set the device down for five minutes. When you come back, take note of the change in time. If your device is sleeping properly, then the Standby time should have increased by five minutes and your Usage time by

Weird. I've never seen Settings as a battery drainer. Apple store will do free diagnostic as well. Have you tried wiping the phone and setting up as new?

Thanks, just wiped and set up as new phone and slapped on airplane mode to see it helps.

Previous owner had the screen replaced so maybe something came loose

Have you opened it up and taken a look for loose connections?

Anyhow, hope this worked for you.

If you're referring to a 5s battery the cost is $79 + $6.95 shipping. If you have AppleCare+ there is no charge for the service. This is direct through Apple. You can always go somewhere else and save some money but i can't make any claims to the quality of the materials or work.
