Calls and sms to one phone are showing up on another?

Calls and sms to one phone are showing up on another.

I have 2 x iPhone 5s.
One is for use in the UAE and has a UAE number and one is for the UK and has a Vodaphone number.
I keep the UAE one turned on whilst in the UK connected to home WiFi.
I have both backed up to icloud but with different names of course.
I have noticed that missed calls and sms to either phone are showing up on the other.

I don't understand

Are you using the same Apple ID on both devices?

Welcome to iMore! If you have handoff enabled then that could explain why calls and texts are being forward to your other device. You can always turn the feature off. Keep in mind, iMessages may show up on both devices if they use the same Apple ID and are both set up to accept messages with the same phone number or email address.

Each device should have it's own Apple ID. You can share the iTunes ID, but not iCloud, iMessage and Facetime.
