Is buying an iPhone 5S now still a good option?

It's January 2016, iPhone 5S was released in September 2013. It is now available at almost one third of its original price. So is it still a good option to buy it now?

Welcome to iMore. Still a solid phone. We have two of them in our household and they hold their own against my 6. They will probably become even more reasonable with the introduction of the rumored 5se, which might be another consideration for you. We like the 5s because of it's form factor. They are both running the most current IOS without any problems. I also believe Apple will continue to support it, since they are selling it. Good solid device that would serve you well for at least a couple years.
