I cannot get my 5s iPhone to come on.?

My iPhone was working perfectly fine when I went to bed. When I got up it will not turn on. Its acting like the battery is dead. It won't even show a empty battery when trying to charge it. I did not drop the phone or get it wet or anything. Please assist.

Welcome to iMore! It could just be frozen up. Reset your device by holding the power button and home button down simultaneously until you see the Apple boot logo. If that doesn't work and it still won't turn on you may have a fried battery. Hoping that's not the case though!
