    Unless I'm misreading your post, your iPhone 5S comes with TouchID so there is no need for it to "be installed whole enclosed in a life proof case". If you're asking if the Touch ID will detect your fingerprint then I don't know. Is like to think that the TouchID/home button is exposed.

    Yeah, if you are asking if the Touch ID will WORK while the phone is in a Lifeproof case, the answer is that it WILL work if you have the case designed for the 5s.

    It will not work in the case designed for the iPhone 5. The 5s will fit in in that case just fine, but you would have to swipe and enter your passcode instead of using Touch ID.

    If by installed you mean set up then yes and you should do it that way so when you are using Touch ID it is in the same manner that you set it up.
