Unable to upgrade or download apps
Since upgrading my iPhone 5s this morning, I am unable to update apps or download new apps.

Try logging out of your Apple ID in the Settings > iTunes & App store section. Then reboot your phone and sign back into the iTunes & App Store setting with your Apple ID.
Then try and update/download apps again
