Why can't my iPhone 5s find my AirPrint Printer?

iPhone 5s can't "find" my AirPrint Printer

Why can't my iPhone 5s find my wireless printer, which is sitting on a table beside me? When I try to print, I first try to "Select Printer". After "looking for printers", I am told "No AirPrint Printers found". Yet all my devices--iMac, and two iPads--all print from this printer.

Silly question.....but I'm going to ask anyway. Your 5S is on wifi while trying to do this...the same wifi network as your AirPrinter.

At the risk of asking the obvious, have you tried unplugging your wireless router then plugging it in again?
That works for me.

Some printers can go in a sleep mode to save power when not in use. Could be that when you are searching for the printer from your 5S that the printer is sleeping. Sometimes it takes a few tries until the printer wakes up. I recall a few times when I've had to go to the printer and help it wake up.

Try using an App called AiO Remote to test your printer connection.
