Would like to get iphone 5s in March when it will be 17 months old. What I want to know is will it still be a relevant phone for two further years? Will it continue to receive Ios updates?

Yes. Historically, Apple continues to provide updates for 4 years from release date. Since the 5S is a year old, it seems reasonable to expect updates for another 3 years (iOS 11).

Should definitely still be a solid device. The form factor is still pretty nice!

It's a great day to day phone because of its reliability. Support will be of course very consistent and long term with Apple's products.

Definitely still a great phone. Apple products have a pretty good lifespan in general.

As said earlier Apple provides update for every iPhone for 3 to 4 years. Hence iPhone 5s will be great choice. All the best.

when I got my 6, my 5S was only about a year old, so I gave it to my daughter, I miss it, but I still will keep the 6 , I love them both.

The 5S is a 64gb witch they do not even offer any more, but my 6 is 128gb so I'm happy, but the 5S is still a great phone, well worth it, if you do not want a 6.

In my Opinion, iPhone 5S is a very decent phone and certainly will last more than two years. In terms of iPhone 6 and plus, frankly I don't like them that much since that many gates have occurred and protruding camera. I like the design of iPhone 5S and it runs iOS 8 without any problems. It's really good

5S, great phone. The camera with a case on the 6/6+ is pretty protected and won't stick out.

Was playing with my wife's 5C this weekend, great form factor.
