How's your experience of iOS 8.x with 5s ?

I like iOS 8.1/iOS 8 but I have been experiencing more crashes. Hopefully next update might fix these.

I'm experiencing the messaging app locking up every now and then. I have to force close it,but then it's OK. I see it more than a couple times a day.

I've had no significant issues with IOS 8.1 on my iPhone 5s.

I haven't had any app crashes with 8.1 but the keyboard will still fail to come up from time to time.

My Verizon GOLD 5s is running GREAT with iOS 8.1

Yeah. I actually did factory reset the device.

Just a weird wifi/battery issue. If I leave wifi on overnight while I sleep after a full charge, the standby/usage time would be the same n that would drop my battery from 100 to like 85% (only happens sometimes). I did a fresh install for IOS 8 so using a old backup is not the problem.

A few apps have been getting stuck in between and I've to use multitasking to end that particular app and open it again in order to use it. Apart from this the SwiftKey keyboard also gets stuck sometimes. This can be really irritating at times especially when you're in the middle of a conversation that requires you to reply as if you were talking face to face!

I'm planning on baking up my 5s to my MacBook. Then restoring from scratch. When I complete the restore...am I just pushing the same condition back into my device?

Just got my Verizon 5s yesterday and have it updated. Not really seeing any issues just that it seems to drain battery a little faster than my updated 5c did. Maybe thats normal. I need to read more, I saw some posts about battery life I believe.

I had the same problem with battery drainage. It was suggested that I allow my battery to drain to 0% and then charge to 100% (did that a couple of times), when I followed this suggestion my battery life noticeably improved to where my battery like is now better than it was with iOS 8.0.2
My device memory also increased by approx 2gb with iOS 8.1 (not sure how that happened)
