iphone 5s unable to join wifi hotspot

Hello,
Like everyone else since the latest os upgrade I am unable to connect to many wifi hotspots. I have tried all the trouble shooting that I have read and it still does not work. Is apple aware of this and is there going to be a fix to this in the new os which is coming soon.

Is it possible that those hotspots had already reached their capacity when you attempted to join? Are you certain that those hotspot weren't experiencing problems when you attempted to connect? What are the attempted troubleshooting tips you referenced?
