I combined apps into a file but it does not have a name

I think this is a dumb question but I recently combined 3 app icons into a "file" or "group". This time it has no name and I don't seem to be able to name it. Is there a way to do this that I am missing? Thanks.

Hold on the folder icon until it starts wiggling then open the folder and there should be a text field for you to put in a name for it.
