Home button seems to "clicky"

I've only had my iphone 5S since Sunday but my home button makes a loud clicky noise when I use my home button. I can't remember my iphone 5 home button being this loud.

I instantly felt a difference in the home button click when I came from a 5. Not to mention that the 5S was brand new and my 5 had a lot of home button use.

My 5s button is a little clicky. It's a common thing with the 5s. I think it has to do with the Touch ID. Mines not bad though.

Mine is quite loud when pressed, I was just wondering if this was common

This is due to the way Touch ID works. The components are under the button, which can cause wires and things to get in the way sometimes. My iPhone 5s sometimes clicks a lot and sometimes doesn't click at all. It's just the way it is.

I've never noticed mine to be clicky but it was a difference coming from the 5.
