Why do ALL my contacts turn up in WhatsApp??

Maybe it's just me... but I can't find the option to filter my WhatsApp contacts.
In WhatsApp, ALL my contacts turn up... including the people who don't even use WhatsApp.

- How can I fix this, so that only the people who actually use it, show up??

It does it naturally so you can invite them to use whatsapp..

The people that use whatsapp will be located under the favorites tab
