    So this is kind of hard to explain:

    Usually I have my iMessage configured on and it shows this when I'm in a group message:iMessage/SMS with Group Messaging-imageuploadedbytapatalk1400699721.237272.jpgit says group in the header.

    I decided to turn off iMessage today because my messages were sending at snail speed and it shows this:iMessage/SMS with Group Messaging-imageuploadedbytapatalk1400699758.596190.jpg. Can someone explain what this means? I've never saw this when I turned off my iMessage. These are also my settings under iMessage:iMessage/SMS with Group Messaging-imageuploadedbytapatalk1400699789.107243.jpg

    If you turn off iMessage do this:

    iOS: Deactivating iMessage

    It's one way. You have group messaging turned off for SMS. That's why it says outgoing. Try turning "group messaging" on for SMS if you're not going to use iMessage. The speed has nothing to do with iMessage. Speed would be your LTE reception.
