Configure your Yahoo account on tour iPhone and enable contact syncing.

1. On your iPhone, go to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and then select "Add Account".
2.Select "Yahoo".
3. Enter your name, yahoo email address, your Yahoo password and a description of the account in the appropriate section, and then select "Next" in the upper right corner.
4. When the account has been configured, slide the lever so that green appears (enabled) next to "Contacts" and anything else associated with your Yahoo account that you want synced to your iPhone.

Transfer Contacts
The process for transferring contacts varies depending on where they are. Below, you'll find instructions for importing your contacts from email accounts.

With most types of email accounts, you can transfer your contacts to your new iPhone by setting up the email account on your phone. During setup, be sure that the Contacts switch is turned on.

If you’ve already set up the account and the contacts aren’t on your iPhone, verify that contacts are set to sync for that account:

  1. From the home screen, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  2. Tap the account name and then turn on the Contacts switch if it’s not on.
