I just noticed somehow my phone has added duplicates of same events In my calendar. how do I delete em without doing one by one?

Have you synced your gmail, facebook, other calendars on your phone?

I did plug it in to my desktop for the 1st time in a long time. they are the exact same events. I did not sync any other calendars though

Check settings in your phone it might be getting events from two sources that happen to be synced from your desktop you should be able to turn off one service and it should remove those entry's
