Hi, I have a new iphone 5s (sold my 5), and i noted a problem. Its brand new phone.

When I click 2x on the home button, I close all apps, normally, and there's only the menu on the middle of the screen, with all apps closed, with a second clock on the top, so I tap the screen to put the menu on the front (cause it stills in the middle, waiting me to close all the apps) and here's the problem, when the menu comes and the clock goes up, it sticks a little when he hits the second clock.
Does anyone noted this problem on his iphone 5s?
I already restored and the problem stays.

    thanks for help!!
    friend thanks for help.
here's a print screen of the second clock on the 3rd print, and then the problem on the 1st and 2nd, you can see the clock?

What second clock? Never mind. Dude, if you think your "new" iPhone 5S is not functioning properly, make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store and have it exchanged for another one. (hint hint)

I'm in Portugal and I found someone with same problem. Unbelievable, I love the web.
Your phone is the 5s too? You tried to solve that thing? I don't want be picky, but, it's the iPhone 5s. I had 4s and 5 and never seen this before.

Justmed, open the clock and then close it , you'll see the second clock. It doesn't appear always. Try twice, you'll see it.

I understand, and no, I have the 5, not the 5S. The good thing about it is the fact that it appears on other people's iPhone 5S devices.

Okay, on my third try, I was able to see the status bar at the top. I will chalk it up as a glitch and nothing more.

Yes that's on my 5S on iOS 7.0.4 and no I haven't gone to an apple store cause a) the closest one to me is 1 hour away (next closest is 2 hours away) and b) it doesn't bother me. I've been running the iOS 7.1 beta on my iPod touch and at least for me it might be not as noticeable.

You're right, but this is the most expensive phone in the world. And what upsets me isn't the clock shaking, is the fact of the phone having a problem... And isn't for all users. For now it's just me and you.(lol). Hopefully this is only a bug and will disappear soon.

    Hello.

You're talking about two different things.

The first thing, is the "2nd clock". I believe this is a glitch. The following steps bring up this glitch.

    1. Open any app
    2. Whilst in the app, double click the home button to open up multi-tasking.
    3. Now whilst in multi-tasking, swipe up/close the app you opened in the first place
    4. You will now see the "2nd clock" at the top of your screen.

Okay? Hopefully this will be fixed in an update. This glitch is present across all IOS devices running IOS7.

The second thing, is a glitch only seen on the 5S. It involves the homepage "stretching" upwards. To see this glitch, do the following steps

    1. Double click the home button to open up multi-tasking
    2. Whilst keeping your eye on the top of the screen, return to the homepage.

Right at the end of the animation, you will see the "stretch". It looks as if it's "docking" into place.

There is a video showcasing this.

So what you're seeing is BOTH glitches happening at the same time, which causes that "shaking" look.

This glitch, however, is said to have been fixed in IOS7.1, according to the people testing the Beta version. So, in the next update, it should be fixed.

I hope this has eased your mind, OP.

    Thanks ScottyBoy_22,
it eased my mind ( if I see it gone on 7.1 update ).
I saw the video you posted, and its 100% what happens on my iphone. If I double click the home button, I dont see the 2nd clock.

Now ill ask you to do this:
    open the menu
    open the clock app.

now double-click the home button, swipe the clock app (to close it).
so, you see the second clock now? Yes you see. Now type the screen and youll the the glitch?

Yeah, I said in my post that if you open an app, and then go into multi-tasking and swipe it, the 2nd clock will appear. It doesn't matter which app you do it with. As long as the app you're closing is the one you opened in the first place.

And yes, when you return to the home page, you can see the glitch that you have taken a screenshot of. It is the same for ALL 5S phones. Every single one has this problem.

It will be fixed in IOS7.1

Yeah, I said that the double status bar thing will hopefully be fixed.

People running the 7.1 beta have said that the screen stretching glitch is 100% fixed.

If you have a 5S, then yes, it is happening. You just aren't doing it right/looking at the right thing. It is happening on every single iPhone 5S.

This should be fixed in the next update. Maybe it's being caused by the 64 bit processor.

The GPU in the A7 renders differently than pervious chips that's what causing the bug.
