    Pictures I take with my 5s do not fill the screen, is this normal?When I double tap, it zooms all the way in; I know thats normal. Any advice? I'm used to my 4s that didn't have this issue, and I imagine the screens being a different size and resolution may have something to do with it

    It's normal. As you guessed its due to the taller screen of the iPhone 5/5S but the phot size staying the same standard size.

    I remember watching a YouTube video somewhere about this and that seems to be a ios 7 thing. I don't believe that the 5 had the same problem on ios6

    It did. The height of photos hasn't changed but the height of the iPhone 5 did.
