Blackout after Apple logo

Hi Everyone!
I have an iPhone 5s and notice that after I restart my phone, my screen blacks out and I have to press the home button to get to the lock screen. Has anyone else noticed this?

If it bugs you... take it to an AppleStore, demonstrate to an AppleGenius, and they'll help figure it out.

Does it not also "blackout" when you're not using it for about a minute causing you to have to press either the home or power button to get to the lock screen?

It does not bug me. I was wondering if this was maybe an IOS 7 thing.

Yes it does but when I had a 4s (iOS 6) and restarted my phone after turning it off, it would go straight to lock screen after the logo. I thought that maybe this was something different with IOS 7.
