i'm having a tough time deciding between the two sizes also right now. i've been ready to order one for weeks now but i just can't decide on a 16 or 32. I've had my 16gb 4S for two years now and it was always plenty of space for me. but i worry about all the documents and data for each app that keeps racking up. if it wasn't for that i'd have a lot more storage available. i'm thinking maybe a 16gb again
Definitely go with the 32! I have the 64 but I know thats overkill for most. I travel a lot so I keep a lot at my fingertips. Got about 30GB remaining and 32 may have done the job but I like to have the wiggle room & don't want to worry.

    BTW...Love the Marlo avatar LOL

16GB should be ok for a phone, even so likely to be used up to close to the max. So go for the 32GB for having some margin.

(IPads , don't go below 64Gb, but that is a different story )

I would judge myself on what to get for size on if I have a lot of music, videos and apps. Since I only have around 55 apps at any given time, NO music at all because i use my iPod for that and videos but not enough to make that big a difference and same with pics all sorted in folders (around 500) I have a 16 GB 4S and ordered a 32 GB 5S which I am waiting for to make sure I have the extra space.

If you are using yours for a lot of music especially and pics i can't see where you could not avoid stepping up to 32GB. My opinion.

I'd honestly go for 32gb because it's always better to have more space than you need.

Go for the 32gb. You never know you might need more space.

    32gb

My mom doesn't keep too much music on her iphone but between pics and apps she's outgrown her 16gb.

I on the other hand just upgraded to a 64gb 5s. I don't want to have to choose what music to put on it. I don't want to delete photos. I want ample space to grow into.

32 just seems like it will be overkill for me. The 4S i've had for over two years now still has 5.7GB available. I don't have many photos on it, there's no videos on it, and maybe around 60 apps or so. i think i'm leaning towards another 16GB

Yep.. for most users 16 gigs is sufficient but there are many users who don't really like to delete photos and apps once they stored so 16 gig can be a issue for them but 32 is more then enough i guess if you have budget then go for the 32 otherwise 16 will do the thing

Old military training rings in my ear to always be "Over-prepared vs. under qualified.", but if you think the 16GB model will work optimally for you, go for it. I'd have that thing full of pics/videos alone.
