I know from all the specs listed that the verizon, att, and tmobile models are all the same. I'm just curious if anyone has verified yet if the verizon model will work on att as the iPhone 5 model did last year? Thanks for any help guys

I don't think this qualifies as actual confirmation but the guy I got my Verizon 5S from at the Apple store said the SIM is unlocked just as it was in the 5.

That would make sense since I think Verizon is required to have it unlocked due to the terms they agreed to when they purchased the 700 CBlock spectrum.

The LTE side of the Verizon iPhone 5s is unlocked. It is required to be as part of Verizon's agreement with the FCC. All of their LTE devices fall under this requirement. It will work on AT&T or TMobile. It will not work on Sprint.

Correct. CDMA for voice is locked to Verizon (can't switch to Sprint's CDMA network). But you can use gsm for voice and data on any compatible carrier.
