In case anyone is still checking this thread. I ordered an AT&T 5s, 64GB, Gold, within the first hour they were on sale. My confirmation from apple came at 2:00 AM MDT. The order status page has said Processing Order and Available to Ship October ever since until yesterday. Then it changed to Preparing for Shipment but still said available to ship October. This morning I got the shipping email with tracking number. It is scheduled to be delivered on October 9 by the end of the day.

So a 2.5 week turnaround for gold iphones at best.... and I ordered mine on October 2nd... which puts me for delivery around Oct 22/23rd... So. Long.

Ok, I finally made up my mind and ordered my first iPhone for my birthday. It's the contract-free 16 GB Silver version and it was around 12 pm ET last Saturday (Oct 5). Now to be patient and try to think about something else for a while.

My iPhone 5S arrived this morning. Sadly I am at work and hubby is babysitting it.

I ordered my phone on the 20th at 3:15 am edt. I ordered the iPhone 5S gold 64 on AT&T. I paid the extra $10 to get speedier delivery.

Guess again! I ordered my silver 32gb on the 24th so today is the 15th day and it's still processing for October delivery :-( I'm starting to get impatient now.

I ordered the same thing right when they went on sale on the 9/20 and mine just shipped on 10/3 and it is delivering in a couple days. others I know are still waiting so I think it might be too soon to predict yet. hopefully they start getting caught up soon.

Bummer. Looks like mine didnt make that departure. I did NOT pay extra for shipping. $420 for a phone was enough. I will wait patiently for Wednesday/Thursday.

lol... that's too bad, probably paying that extra do some difference on departure priority, after paying 750... 10 extra.. well was "nothing" ~.~, I live in the Dominican Republic, so getting one under contract wasn't an option...
