I don't understand what you are trying to say. Doesn't matter what phone you're using 3G on, it isn't going to be any faster just because it's on a newer phone. 3G is 3G.

Are you sure? From my research there are different levels of 3G. One of them is HSPA+ ( excuse my spelling).
That type of 3G Is faster than the standard 3G.

Seeing some pretty decent speeds here on Three (UK)

No 4g for my area for a while, but don't really need it by the looks of things :)
