5s Verizon LTE radio bands

I am on Verizon, have a iPhone 5, and have some LTE coverage in the rural are where I live. The 5s supposedly has more LTE bands than the 5.
Will the additional LTE bands on the 5s radio help my LTE reception on Verizon or are they made for a different spectrum that what Verizon utilizes?

Your iPhone5 covers the bands Verizon uses... the additional bands in the 5S will only help you if you're overseas or in Canada and opt to use a local prepaid sim card for service.
